Police are searching for six suspects who held a taxi driver at knifepoint and stole his vehicle during a robbery in Enterprise on Thursday night.
According to reports, a 44-year-old linesman was operating his station wagon as a taxi along Southern Main Road, Enterprise when he picked up six men at Connection Drive. The men requested to be taken to Tobago Road, but upon arrival, one of the suspects placed a cold object against the victim’s neck and announced a robbery.
The criminals stole the man's wallet and personal items, a Samsung A05 mobile phone valued at $1,700, and his vehicle before ordering him out of the car.
