A taxi driver was robbed of his car at gunpoint in Morvant early Saturday morning.
Police said around 2 a.m. on October 18, the driver was plying a black Nissan Wingroad wagon along the Port of Spain to Morvant route when he was hired by two men.
The men told him they wanted to go to Valley Drive, Morvant, to pick up two women and then continue to a party in Carenage. But when they arrived at Valley Drive, both men pulled out firearms and announced a robbery, saying, “This is a robbery. Don’t make it a murder.”
