A 30-year-old taxi driver from Enterprise was attacked and robbed by two passengers, a man and a woman, who hired him for a trip to Longdenville on Tuesday night.
Police said the victim, of Enterprise, was hired by the pair around 10:10 p.m. near Unique Furniture Store, Chaguanas Main Road. They asked to be taken to Cemetery Street, Longdenville, and he agreed.
When they arrived about ten minutes later, the female passenger borrowed the driver’s cellphone to make a call. At that moment, the male passenger, who was seated in the back seat, covered his face with a black bandana and pulled out a knife.
