A $10,000 gold chain was stolen by bandits during a Point Fortin Robbery on Saturday morning.
The victim, a 42-year-old Malabar man, told police that he was standing near the Point Fortin People’s National Movement (PNM) constituency office at around 4.a.m. when two men armed with a knife approached him.
The suspects placed the knife at his waist and announced a robbery, the victim told police. They took the $10,000 chain, three gold rings valued at $8,000, a $1,200 gold watch, his wallet containing $1,000 and a $7,000 cellphone.
