A Port-of-Spain man was ar­rest­ed on Thurs­day af­ter­noon, af­ter re­turn­ing a stolen chain to its own­er mo­ments af­ter he snatched it off her neck.

Po­lice said the woman was walk­ing on Char­lotte Street around 5.10 pm, when a man ap­proached, snatched her chain, and ran.

The woman chased af­ter him while call­ing the po­lice on her cell­phone.
