A 27-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from Beetham Gardens, were arrested early yesterday after a daring daylight robbery outside the Tobago Ferry Terminal in Port of Spain.
Around 5 a.m., a man of Diego Martin parked his vehicle near the Central Bank towers and began walking east towards the terminal to purchase ferry tickets. He was accosted by two men, one wearing a pink T-shirt, three-quarter jeans and loose hairstyle, the other in a grey cap and blue T-shirt.
The men allegedly grabbed their victim and ripped a gold Spanish link chain valued at $17,500 from his neck before running east and entering a waiting Honda Vezel.
