A man from Central Trinidad laid down the law for a would-be snatcher who attempted to rob his female companion of a bracelet in Port of Spain.
In the aftermath, the snatcher was detained by police after the the man, who did not want to be named, made a citizens arrest.
Newsday was told that at about 1.40 pm on August 14, the man was walking with his female companion at the Brian Lara Promenade near Nicholas Towers, when the bandit snuck up behind them and snatched his female companion’s bracelet.
