An Aranguez woman whose gold chains were snatched whilst in her car in Port-of-Spain on Sun­day, fol­low­ing which she was dragged and thrown on the road be­fore the ban­dit drove off with the ve­hi­cle, had it re­turned to her hours lat­er at her home.

Po­lice said the 36-year-old woman of Sun­der­s­ingh Dri­ve in Aranguez was seat­ed in her sil­ver Hyundai Elantra in the vicin­i­ty of the old Sal­va­tori Build­ing along In­de­pen­dence Square in Port-of-Spain around 12.45 pm.

At the time the ve­hi­cle was on, with the keys in the ig­ni­tion.
