HOMELAND Security Minister Roger Alexander said the kidnapping problem the country faces today stems from the former government’s failure to secure the nation’s borders.
The minister, when pressed, did not answer questions as to whether Venezuelans are involved in a kidnapping ring, but he assured that “gangs” were being dismantled.
At yesterday’s sitting of Parliament, Opposition MP Marvin Gonzales asked what the Government plans to do to counteract the recent surge in kidnappings.
