The Law Reform (Zones of Special Operations)(Special Security and Community Development Measures) Bill 2026 was passed in House of Representatives at 3.32 a.m. yesterday.
The bill was defended by Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander and Defence Minister Wayne Sturge, with both dismissing any criticism that the Government’s actions would target a particular ethnicity.
