Senior Counsel Pamela Elder yesterday condemned as “scandalous” the Police Service Commission’s (PolSC) failure to issue a formal letter confirming that Erla Harewood-Christopher’s suspension had been lifted.
The Express contacted Elder by telephone to query the status of the letter.
Asked whether Harewood-Christopher could resume her duties without the official correspondence in hand, Elder replied: “I would say most certainly, yes. That is why she went to the building yesterday—because the attorney for the commission unambiguously indicated to the court that a decision was made to lift this suspension.”
