THE Police Service Commission (PolSC) has taken the decision to lift its suspension of Police Commissioner Erla Harewood-Christopher.
Just three days before her contract comes to an end, Harewood-Christopher will be allowed to return to work as this country's top cop from today.
The lifting of the suspension was disclosed on Monday morning by Senior Counsel Debroah Peake, lead attorney for the PolSC, after Justice Christopher Sieuchand delivered judgment in a constitutional claim brought by Harewood-Christopher against the commission over her suspension.
