Neither Junior Benjamin nor Erla Harewood-Christopher received any official correspondence from the Police Service Commission (PolSC) up to yesterday evening.
As such, Benjamin continues to serve as acting Commissioner of Police.
Speaking to reporters yesterday, Benjamin confirmed he had not received any communication from the PolSC regarding a change in leadership.
