Police are investigating a violent robbery in Sealots on Tuesday afternoon in which a man was shot and valuables stolen.
Around 4:30 p.m. , the victim was standing near a church along Pioneer Drive when two armed men approached and demanded money. Fearing for his safety, he handed over $25,000. During the incident, one of the suspects fired at the victim, hitting him in the left leg, causing him to fall.
The attackers also stole a gold chain and gold ID band, each valued at approximately $25,000, before fleeing north along Pioneer Drive.
