A 60-year-old man was taken into Police custody and subsequently released for allegedly whipping out a firearm and threatened to shoot a 29-year-old man.
Based on reports, on Tuesday about 10:25h, the 29-year-old, a businessman of Grove, East Bank Demerara (EBD), and the 60-year-old businessman of Bel Air, Georgetown, were along Robb Street, Georgetown, when an argument erupted.
As such, the elderly man took out a firearm and allegedly threatened to shoot the virtual complainant. The matter was reported, thus leading to the arrest of the suspect, who was found to be in possession of a licensed .32 Taurus pistol.
