Businessman shot dead at Region 8 backdam

(Kaieteur News) – A businessman and former murder accused was shot dead on Thursday at Mowasie Landing, Region 8. Dead is Godfrey Gill also known as “Chucky”.

Police said Gill was in the vicinity of a shop at Mowasie backdam when a loud explosion was heard.

Moments after he was found lying motionless on the ground.
