The Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies (UWI) will relocate to the South Campus in Debe by August 2026, the university confirmed yesterday.
In a letter to students, Dean Dr. Alicia Elias-Roberts assured them that the relocation will proceed only once the facilities are fully ready for academic use, with minimal disruption to teaching, learning, and student services.
The letter, sent on behalf of the Dean, invited students to a town hall meeting on March 19 at the Noor Hassanali Auditorium and a virtual session on March 26 via Zoom. The Faculty encouraged students to raise concerns and questions, noting that their academic experience and the quality of programs remain top priorities during the transition.
