Two women tourists were robbed by a group of men in St Clair on Tuesday night.
Police report two women, 41 from New Jersey and 45 from Fort Lauderdale, were walking along Broome Street, St Clair at around 9.45 p.m. when they were approached by a group of men all of African descent.
The suspects attacked the women, and a violent struggle ensued. One of the women was robbed of a byzantine gold chain valued US $10,000, an iPhone 15 Pro valued US $1,500 and US $300 in cash. The suspects then fled.
