A 21-year-old man from Tunapuna was arrested following a robbery that occurred on March 4, when two US residents were targeted by a group of men in St Clair.
Around 9.45 pm, a 41-year-old male financial broker from New Jersey and his 45-year-old female companion from Miami were walking along Broom Street when they were ambushed by a group of men.
The suspects, described as being of African descent and wearing dark-coloured clothing, attacked the victims and stole their valuables.
