(Kaieteur News) – Police ranks, led by a Gazetted Officer, conducted a cannabis eradication exercise at Ebini, Upper Berbice River, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, between 09:00hrs and 18:00hrs.
During the exercise, ranks located a cannabis cultivation measuring approximately one acre, where about 700 suspected cannabis plants were discovered.
The plants ranged between four and seven feet in height.
