A drug eradication exercise at Yaruni Bend, Linden, Upper Demerara River, Region 10, on Thursday led to the destruction of over $22 million worth of ganja.
Based on reports, during the 11-hour exercise, police discovered two cannabis
farms measuring eight acres, with approximately 53,000 cannabis plants ranging from two to six feet in height. In addition, two makeshift camps and two drying areas were located, along with 10 pounds of dried cannabis ready for the market.
