POLICE Commissioner Allister Guevarro has confirmed that the investigation into the police-involved shooting that left Joshua Samaroo dead and Kaia Sealy injured is at an advanced stage, with the case file now being prepared for submission to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
“The investigative file is now in a state of readiness for the TTPS to return to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Roger Gaspard. However, at this time, we are awaiting a final report from the Forensic Science Centre. Once that report is received, the complete file will be submitted to the DPP for further direction,” he explained.
