Woman refuses to let handbag thief escape

A WOMAN who refused to let a thief escape after he snatched her handbag chased him through the streets of Port of Spain on Friday, helping police to apprehend the suspect.
The woman was walking along Frederick Street shortly after 1 pm when the man grabbed her bag, which contained a quantity of cash and a Samsung cellphone valued at $2,400.
Rather than allow the thief to get away, she pursued him, joined by two other people.
