A Couva man was robbed of his vehicle and electronic devices after being lured to Barataria under the pretence of completing a Facebook Marketplace sale.
Police said around 1 p.m. on Thursday, the 29-year-old victim drove to Sixth Avenue, Barataria, near Neville Jules Road, to meet a man who claimed he wanted to buy a PlayStation 5 console for $3,700.
He parked his grey Nissan Frontier valued at $275,000, and waited.
