Police are investigating a robbery in which a man was held up and his vehicle stolen after arranging to sell a PlayStation 5 through Facebook Marketplace.
Around 1 pm on Thursday, the victim went to Sixth Avenue, Barataria, to meet a supposed buyer. When he arrived at the dead end near Neville Jules Road, a man armed with a knife approached and announced a robbery. Two other men then emerged from nearby land and joined in.
The suspects took the victim’s grey Nissan Frontier, a Samsung Z Flip 4 phone, and the PlayStation console before escaping.
