Police are investigating a home invasion at a Penal residence in which a retired couple was robbed by four armed intruders.
The victims, a 71-year-old a retired schoolteacher, and his wife,, 68, a pensioner, were asleep in their home on Tuesday night when the suspects struck.
At around 3a.m. Wednesday, the couple was awakened by a knock on their bedroom door. When the man opened it, he was confronted by four men speaking mainly Spanish with limited English, all wearing dark clothing with their heads and faces covered. Each suspect was armed with a knife.
