A 76-year-old pensioner was left traumatised after being bound, gagged, and robbed by a group of masked men who invaded her San Juan home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police said the victim of El Socorro was asleep when the intruders broke into her house around 2:45am. Walcott had secured all doors and windows the night before and retired to bed around 11p.m.
According to reports, the elderly woman was jolted awake when someone pressed a pillow over her head. She then saw four to five men in dark clothing, wearing ski masks and black fisherman-style hats, standing in her bedroom.
