MINISTER of Land and Legal Affairs Saddam Hosein has fired back at Opposition MP Colm Imbert, describing him as “delusional” for predicting that the People’s National Movement (PNM) will deliver “licks” to the United National Congress (UNC) in the next elections.
Hosein also accused Imbert of suffering from “political tabanca” following the PNM’s defeat by the UNC in the April 28, 2025, general election.
Contributing to debate on the Municipal Corporations (Amendment) Bill, 2026 in the House of Representatives yesterday, Hosein took aim at Imbert’s earlier contribution, in which the Diego Martin North/East MP accused the Government of gerrymandering local government boundaries to give the UNC a political advantage.
