A CaÂroni man who withÂdrew $17,500 cash from the bank and placed it in his car, was robbed afÂter he stopped to purÂchase items at the side of the road on the way home.
The 49-year-old sales repÂreÂsenÂtaÂtive, of KelÂly VilÂlage, CaÂroni, conÂductÂed the transÂacÂtion at a bank in Grand Bazaar, ValÂsayn, around noon on ThursÂday.
On the way home, the vicÂtim stopped at the CaÂroni roundÂabout, near the fish venÂdors, to purÂchase someÂthing and left the car unÂlocked.
