A woman was robbed and her nephew shot during a home invasion at Cuthbert Circular, Four Roads, Diego Martin, on Tuesday evening.

Police said the incident occurred around 6.15 pm, when the 39-year-old woman was lying on a chair in her living room at her home when two men walked in through the front door.

The intruders reportedly threatened her and robbed her of a gold chain valued at $8,000, a Samsung cellular phone valued at $1,200, a gold ring engraved with her name valued at $500, and a single hoop earring with a ganja leaf design valued at $800. Police said the suspects beat the woman.
