AfĀter he was fired by the then-CabĀiĀnet based on the adĀvice of forĀmer fiĀnance minĀisĀter Colm ImĀbert, RamĀbarĀran sought the inĀforĀmaĀtion unĀder the FreeĀdom of InĀforĀmaĀtion Act (FOIA), which he claimed he needĀed to purĀsue a wrongĀful disĀmissal case.
