Police are investigating a report that a woman was detained inside a taxi and subjected to an indecent act by the driver while travelling from San Fernando to Debe.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 11.20 a.m. on February 16 after the woman boarded a silver Nissan Almera at Cross Crossing, San Fernando, and asked the driver to take her to Debe.

According to the police report, the victim told investigators that when the vehicle reached Dumfries Road, La Romaine, near the Hermitage Mosque, the driver allegedly locked the doors and exposed himself to her.
