A Marabella taxi driver was yesterday placed on a police identification parade in connection with the alleged assault of a female passenger and a child passenger in his taxi on Monday.
The 39-year-old man of Princes Town is being investigated for offences of aggravated assault and cruelty against a child.
He was arrested on Tuesday after a female passenger reported that he struck her and a child passenger in his taxi, and engaged in a scuffle with her outside the car in San Fernando after she asked him about the route he took on their journey.
