A private hire (PH) taxi driver was shot in Valencia on Wednesday while another PH taxi driver was robbed of his vehicle at gunpoint in Curepe about 15 minutes earlier.
According to police, the incident in Valencia occurred around 1.15 p.m.
The 44-year-old driver was operating a white Nissan AD wagon when he picked up a male passenger dressed in dark clothing at the Valencia Junction.
