A Morvant man was beaten and robbed of his vehicle and valuables by armed bandits while refuelling at a gas station on Monday night.
Police said around 8 p.m., the 53-year-old victim was at the Unipet Gas Station at the corner of Morvant Old Road and Eastern Main Road when a man armed with what appeared to be a gun approached him.
The suspect pointed the weapon, struck the victim on the side of his face, and demanded his vehicle, phone and cash.
