MOTORISTS frustrated by someone reserving a parking space by standing in it while waiting for another driver should avoid confrontation and simply seek an alternative, police have advised.
The advice came during yesterday’s weekly TTPS news conference at the Police Administration Building in Port of Spain, following the circulation of a social media video showing a heated exchange between a woman and a motorist at the Piarco International Airport car park.
In the video, the woman is seen standing in a parking space, apparently holding it for a relative who was expected to arrive. The motorist, who wanted to park in the space, engaged her in an argument.
