The man involved in a confrontation with Licensing officers along the Southern Main Road, Curepe, on Monday was expected to be charged and appear in court today.
This according to one of his attorneys, Rajin Dominic Persad, yesterday. His other attorney is Roland Bain.
In the incident, which was recorded by a TV6 journalist, police said a Licensing officer reported that while he was carrying out his duties in the vicinity of the East Grove Housing Development in the St Joseph police district, he was allegedly assaulted by the driver of a green band Route 3 maxi-taxi.
