Hosein: Expanded role to tackle ‘burdensome’ land issues

Minister of Land and Legal Affairs, Saddam Hosein says the additional responsibilities placed under his ministry will help streamline “burdensome” land-related matters and accelerate the development and regularisation of State lands.

Hosein said his ministry had already delivered on several decades-old issues during its first year.

In an interview with the Sunday Express yesterday, he thanked Persad-Bissessar for placing further responsibilities under his control and expressed confidence that his ministry could deliver.
