Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says she is “very confident” in Minister of Land and Legal Affairs Saddam Hosein’s ability to handle his significantly expanded portfolio following the latest realignment of ministerial responsibilities.
Hosein has emerged as one of the ministers with the largest increase in responsibilities, taking charge of several additional programmes and State entities.
Asked by the Sunday Express yesterday whether she was confident Hosein could manage the increased workload, Persad-Bissessar responded: “Very confident.”
