A family was terrorised during a daylight home invasion in Chaguanas on Friday, as two armed men stormed their residence, robbed them of cash and valuables, and escaped in a vehicle fitted with false licence plates.
The incident occurred around 12.05 p.m. at a house along Sugar Cane Avenue, police said.
The father was in the car park area preparing to enter his house when he was confronted by two men who announced a robbery. One of the suspects was armed with a firearm, while the other carried a knife.
