A family of four, including two children, were bound, beaten and robbed during a home invasion at their Felicity, Chaguanas home in the early hours of Friday.
Police said the incident occurred around 1.30 a.m., after a doctor returned upstairs from his office located on the ground floor of the house.
Upon reaching the upper level, he noticed that the eastern rear gate was open. As he went to check, he was confronted inside the house by four armed men.
