A Diego Martin man was robbed of a high-end cellphone on Wednesday after arranging a sale through Facebook Marketplace in Port of Spain.

Police said the incident occurred around 5.20 p.m. at the corner of Park and Charlotte Streets when the victim, of St Lucian Road, met with a man who had expressed interest in buying his Samsung S25 cellphone.

According to reports, the seller showed the phone to the suspect, who then handed him a brown envelope said to contain the payment.
