A man who was robbed twice within minutes during a broad daylight setup in downtown Port of Spain on Saturday.
Around 12:00 p.m. the victim had arranged to sell his Samsung S24 cellphone, valued at $3,500, via Facebook Marketplace. He went to Park Street, near the Republic Bank carpark, to meet the supposed buyer described as an older man of African descent, light in complexion, 6’1” tall, with a short haircut, wearing a white jersey and black three-quarter jeans.
During the transaction, the suspect snatched the phone and ran east along Park Street. The victim gave chase.
