(Kaieteur News) – Adesh Mohan was on Monday charged in connection with a fatal Canal #2 Public Road, West Bank Demerara accident, which occurred on 5th March, 2026.
Mohan was charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, contrary to Section 35(1) of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 51:02, as amended by Act No. 16 of 1998.
He appeared before Magistrate Rondell Weaver at the Wales Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty and was granted $500,000 cash bail.
