Adesh Mohan was on Monday granted $500,000 bail for causing the death of Carl Cummings following an accident on March 5, 2026, on Canal #2 Public Road, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
He appeared before Magistrate Rondell Weaver at the Wales Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty, and as such, was granted $500,000 cash bail, and the matter was adjourned to October 12, 2026.
It was reported that the accident involved motor car PWW 7682, which was at the time driven by Mohan, and motorcycle CJ 4015, driven by Carl Cummings, who died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
