Police are searching for four men who stormed the Church’s Chicken restaurant on Maraval Road, St. Clair, on Sunday night, assaulted the manager, and robbed both the business and customers of cash and valuables.
Around 9:29 p.m. the restaurant’s manager was inside the establishment with staff and patrons when four men entered and announced a robbery.
According to police, the first suspect was armed with a firearm. He struck the manager in the face and forced her to open the restaurant’s safe. The suspects stole $18,544 in cash, the property of the business.
