Three armed bandits stormed into KFC Chaguanas late Sunday night, beating a cashier and forcing employees to the ground before escaping with cash from the restaurant’s vault and registers.
Police said the robbery took place around 11:40 p.m. at the fast-food outlet, when three masked men entered through the dining area. One was armed with a firearm and another with a cutlass.
The security officer on duty was threatened and ordered inside through the employee’s door. Inside, the cashier was beaten about the body by one of the suspects. Staff were then forced to lie on the ground while the gunman stood guard at the office door with a silver firearm.
