Police are investigating an early-morning robbery at a Church’s Chicken restaurant in Diego Martin, where armed bandits forced their way into the establishment and made off with cash and cellphones.
Shortly after 12.40 a.m. on Thursday, a male employee was taking out garbage through the back door when four men exited a silver station wagon and pushed him into the kitchen area.
The men robbed the restaurant of the day’s sales, estimated at $16,000. They also robbed other staff members of their cellphones.
