Police are investigating a home invasion in Fishing Pond on Sunday afternoon during which a family was tied up, beaten, and robbed by four armed men.
According to police reports, around 3p.m, the family was at their home along Flemming Road, Fishing Pond, when four men, two armed with cutlasses, one with a baton, and another with a hammer, entered the house and announced a robbery.
The suspects bound the occupants’ hands with black tie straps, assaulted them, and demanded cash and valuables. They escaped with an estimated $4,500 in cash, jewelry, cell phones, electronic items, personal documents, and the keys to two vehicles — a Hyundai H100 and a Nissan Almera.
