A 38-year-old taxi driver was wounded and his vehicle set on fire after he was attacked by three men in Morne Diablo on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the victim, Adrian Fraser of Clarke Road, Penal, went to Church Street, Quarry Road around 4.30 p.m. to collect his blue Nissan B13, valued at $9,000, which he had parked along the roadway. There, he was confronted by three men known to him, all armed with cutlasses.
A fight ensued, during which Fraser suffered wounds to his left forearm, face, and neck. He managed to escape on foot and was later assisted by a friend, who informed him that his vehicle had been set alight.
